We are the Swanner family.  Matt, Jen, Zach, (Maddy, Troy and Romie Lowe) Summer and Joey all work the family lavender farm and festival. We purchased our farm in 2015 from the Morningstar family who operated a cattle farm for many years. We initially started out as a horse farm but soon found ourselves passionate about all things lavender.  In 2021 we started out with about 1000 plants in the field and as each year passes we continue to grow both in plant size, products, events and now the annual Hanover Lavender Festival.

 

When you drive by on Impounding Dam Road in Hanover, you will see the lavender field nestled between 2 farm houses.  The entrance for the Lavender farm is actually near the big red barn on the opposite side of the field.  If you try to pull into the parking area right next to the field, you've actually entered our neighbor's tiny driveway and are going the wrong way.

We look forward to meeting you all this coming season.  Please be patient with us as this is our home as well as our farm business and only open to the public during lavender season.
